Jay looooooves his cookies.
He occasionally gets an arrowroot cooke after his meal if he finishes the meal. It's great incentive...but a NASTY mess.

ya know what's even worse than that? giving them a real banana (as opposed to the jarred baby food kind that is). i swear something happens when banana bonds with baby skin--some chemical reconfiguration--that changes it to cement. i used to ceinge every single time one of our daycare parents sent in a banana in their baby's lunchbox.
