I've been busy

I've been doing a lot of 'scrap' stuff lately...and I should have scanned these in earlier, but I didn't, oh well :)
But now I'm all caught up on my pictures, old and new :)

We were on the grass today...

I am actually keeping up with some scrapbooking...isn't that sweet? HA!
We were outside earlier today, and we had fun in the kiddie pool and then Jay got to test out the grass...which he STILL hates. But we got some pictures. At first I thought that this must be torture, but after a while, he kind of warmed up to the idea of 'grass'.

Our AWESOME new kiddie pool

This is Jay's newest toy...
And since today was a disgustingly hot humid nasty day, we decided to fill the little pool up and plop Jay in, so that he could cool down a bit.

He loved it! Of course...we knew that he'd be a fish. He loves his baths and anything having to do with water, so he was definetely at home in his awesome new pool.

Daddy and Jay were hanging out...
Jay had JUST woke up from his nap and was a little bit woozy. He noticed mama taking pictures...AGAIN!
He then tried his best to ignore mama while she tried to take some pictures of her boys.
No smiles, but still cute little sleepy boy pics.

A Boy and His Daddy

I got these sweet pics in an email from my mother in law (HI JO!) the other day...and I had to share, because they are SO cute :)

Jay is such a tired beastie in these pics, he's getting ready to crash, Daddy is holding onto him, cuddling and playing with him.

We just LOVE our bath...how fun!

Tonight, I was having a 'moment' in the bathroom and in crawled my little beast. He crawled over to the tub, pulled himself up to the side and just stood there and squealed in delight.

(We all know how much he LOVES his bathtime)

So, I decided to have him 'help' me fill up his bathtub. We put some bubbles into the tub, watched them get bigger and watched the water get higher...all the time, Jay is squealing with delight...knowing that SOON AND VERY SOON, he will be IN the tub, playing with all of his duckies, dolphins, turtles (the list goes on and on)...etc.

STANDING UP!

Jay stood up for the first time on his own on Monday.
We had stopped at a rest-stop to take a break (while traveling home)...laid out a nice blanket and had a little 'picnic' under the tree.

Jay was having fun crawling around and playing with us...when all of a sudden, he just grabbed at his diaper bag and pulled himself up. I was FAST with my picture-taking skills and grabbed a shot of him standing ;)

My extremely handsome little boy

Just a few pictures of my Jay-boy.
Jo took them while we were down visiting and she just sent them to me today.
I LOVE them.
Though they're also a little sad to look at, because my baby is rapidly turning into a young man.
What a sweetheart.

Candid Family Pics

Is it just me, or are the candid family pictures always so much cuter than the 'professional' ones?

We had our family pictures done a month or so ago, and they were BAD.
B.A.D.
Chris and I both looked as if we had been in a fist-fight, and hadn't slept for days, while Jay (of course) looked goregous, happy and bright.

These following pics were taken this past weekend in Benton Harbour, Michigan. We were down to visit family for a graduation celebration. Fun stuff ;) I really REALLY like these pics a lot better...these are only 2 of the 6 or 7 I have.
I love this one, of us 'attacking' Jay with kisses. He was giggling like mad throughout the picture.
